Booking Premier Movers means one Wayne-based crew handles your move end to end. We show up on the morning we promised, pad and shrink-wrap every piece before it leaves the house, carry it down the stairs ourselves, drive it on our own truck, and set it back where you want it. There is no second company in the chain and no surprise line items at the tailgate. The flat rate Tom writes for you on the front end is what lands on the final invoice, and the same faces are with you at both ends of the trip.
Why Tom started Premier
Tom Brennan grew up in Conshohocken and spent his twenties and thirties running commercial logistics out of King of Prussia — scheduling freight, loading docks, and chasing down the carriers who lowballed a number and then padded the bill. He kept watching Main Line families get the same treatment on their household moves: a cheerful phone estimate, then a much bigger figure once the truck was loaded and there was no walking away. In 2011 he started Premier to do the opposite. Price the job honestly, write it down, own the trucks, and stand behind the crew. He still prices most moves himself and still rides along on the tricky ones.
The people behind it
Katie Walsh runs the office — scheduling, certificates of insurance for the high-rises in King of Prussia and the co-ops in Bryn Mawr, and the billing, so the paperwork is squared away before you ever sign. Sal Ricci runs dispatch and the daily truck board, matching the right crew and gear to each address. On the trucks we have three crew chiefs: Drew Fenton leads our piano and specialty work, Mike Okafor heads up the long-distance hauls, and Tyler Brandt is the man for stairs, walk-ups, and the tight stone-house staircases that come with so many of the old center-hall colonials out here. All told we are sixteen people, eleven of them movers, and they train together and wear the same shirts.
Licensed, insured, and ours
Premier holds Pennsylvania PUC household-goods authority for moves inside the state and federal USDOT and MC numbers for anything crossing a state line. We carry up to $1,000,000 in cargo coverage per shipment, with released value at $0.60 per pound standard and full-value protection available if you want it. The trucks are titled to us, serviced by us, and driven by our own crews — we do not subcontract a single job, and we never hand your belongings to a carrier you have not met. That is what licensed, insured, and owner-run is supposed to mean, and it is how we have done it on the Main Line since 2011.
